Description

The Alpro Vortex Mortice Door Magnet AL1982-35-5 is engineered exclusively for sliding doors requiring secure mortice installation. Delivering an exceptional holding force of up to 1,500kg, this advanced magnet features a unique pivoting pin and integrated ball bearings that automatically engage under forced entry attempts.

Designed for reliability, it releases under up to 100kg of side load pressure when power is cut. Dual SPST reed switch sensors provide remote lock and door status monitoring, while Early Warning (EW) pressure sensors and a built-in buzzer alert you to unauthorized access attempts. Operating on 12/24V DC with low current consumption, the AL1982-35-5 includes built-in surge protection and a mortice mounting system for concealed installation.

Please note this magnet is only suitable for sliding doors.
