Description
The Dark Crystal Biometric Reader is both a Fingerprint Recognition Reader and a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) proximity reader.
A Fingerprint Reader compares the fingerprint of the person themselves with a template. If the comparison is successful, an ID number associated with that person is then processed by the access control system. Biometric authentication can work in one of two main ways:
- Identification, one to many (1:N), fingerprint only for instance.
- Verification one to one (1:1) working with another factor (Code or Card).
Add Biometric access control quickly and simply with our new Fingerprint Reader. With a simple 4 wire interface and full integration with the P4 system, the Reader can be fitted without Network duplication. The Reader is also user-friendly – with intuitive light and sound feedback and an optical sensor which allows reliable and easy operation.
