The PanelProx™ Panel Mount HID Reader is a high-performance, rugged proximity reader engineered for demanding access control applications. Designed for direct mounting onto door entry panels, the PanelProx™ delivers reliable operation in harsh indoor and outdoor environments thanks to its fully encapsulated ABS polycarbonate enclosure that offers exceptional vandal resistance.

This versatile reader is compatible with all existing HID proximity cards and tokens, supporting seamless integration into HID-based access control systems. With multicolour LED visual indicators and an integrated sounder, the reader provides clear feedback on card acceptance, rejection, and fault conditions.

PanelProx™ outputs data in Wiegand format and includes optional Clock-and-Data magnetic stripe output for maximum system compatibility. Diagnostics are built in to simplify installation and maintenance, including automatic self-test on power-up and external loop-back testing without the need for extra equipment.
