The entire label surface is sensitive, and the unit is built with a scratch-resistant antimicrobial acrylic label containing Steritouch additive, which kills 99.9% of germs on contact. A smart battery-saving design ensures the sensor transmits only once if a hand remains on the surface, extending battery life up to 100,000 activations.
