Consists of proximity reader and a two channel controller and keyboard. Each channel is dedicated to the proximity reader. The other is used with the keyboard to provide code based secure switch or access control.

The proximity reader of Chameleon is normally used for entry. The keyboard and controller unit can be mounted in a number of different locations to serve an additional roll.

Located next to the proximity reader, card and access can be used for higher security. Alternatively the code channel can be used to provide access for visitors or guests. If mounted on the reverse side of the door it may be used as an RQE button and
secure switch to set/unset an Intruder system or used to switch or override a multitude of systems including the proximity channel. Suitably located the unit can be used to provide code based access control to a second door.
